13BC, the world-renowned brand adorned by celebrities, has launched its latest limited edition collection of handcrafted enameled minaudières and pouches, entitled ‘Four Elements’. Drawing inspiration from the four natural elements, the exclusive handcrafted collection of clutches, delves into the rich world of marine life to the vast deserts, while depicting the wonders of the earth, water, wind and fire.
The brand, founded in 2018, fuses fashion and art, offering exquisitely handcrafted enameled minaudières and pouches, released as limited edition designs every year. This year, nine exclusive designs have been unveiled, with new materials and colors, offering timeless and collectible designs to the wearers.
“This year, we turned to the abundance of nature as a continuous source of inspiration,” shares Cherine Magrabi Tayeb, Founder and creative visionary behind 13BC. “Our creative process, in collaboration with artisans, allowed us to journey into the four natural elements, earth, wind, fire and water, and reinterpret them through colors and enameling,” she adds.

Collection 4: Sweet Sensation

The ‘Sweet Sensation’ collection by 13BC is designed to delight the eye and the palate. Woven with colored metallic threads in Pantone hues, and adorned with delicate enameling and gold- plated elements, every clutch in the signature minaudièrecollection is named after an item from a delectable dessert table. 
 
Available in vibrant shades and hues, with eye-catching detailing, the ‘Sweet Sensation’ Collection clutches are timeless in their own right.

Collection 3: The Pouches

This season we have crafted and dedicated a special exclusive collection of pouches while remaining true to our handmade enameling craftsmanship and our constant search for irreproachable quality. We called on the know-how of the makers of Haute Couture in France, specialising in luxury knitwear to bring our idea to life. A natural dialogue between hand painted enamel and woven threads introduces our new sophisticated, and easy to wear pouch made with love for the women of today.

Collection 3: The Clutches

From their first appearance in the 1930s, the minaudière has been the exquisite epitome of minimal elegance. Small enough to be carried in one hand - and yet large enough for a lady’s essentials - the great fashion houses of the 20th century adopted its style and practicality, with each adding their own unique embellishments of high art and period design.
Part style accessory, part collectible design piece, a 13BC minaudière challenges the ancient arts and techniques of enamelling, and expresses the partnership of the designer and artisan through the creation of infinitely timeless works.

Simply known as the Island of Women, Isla Mujeres is a small & secluded sacred island off the coast of Mexico, named as such for the abundant statues of Ixchel, the Mayan goddess of love, fertility, and medicine, that inhabit the island.
Through its 13 exclusive enamel designs, some of which pay tribute to iconic art while others are playful depictions of a ‘mischievous’ woman, this first collection of 13BC clutches is an ode to a woman’s insatiable thirst for travel & fulfilling experiences. It tells her story as she leaves the mundane behind in search of sel-discovery, going on a journey to a place that that is the embodiment of femininity, a world of wonder & reverie… A place where she can be her truest self and surrender to the boundless possibilities of nature’s grand scheme.
